Divers Institute of Technology is a dive education and training school that offers programs to prepare divers for the challenges of recreational diving, technical diving and professional careers in commercial diving.

We offer both full time academic immersion courses as well as online distance learning courses. Our location at Divers Cove means we have access to some of the most diverse marine environments on earth while our campus also has classrooms, laboratories, dorms and offices!

Whether you’re looking to earn certifications or advance your skills with continuing education credits from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), TDI (Technical Diver’s International) or ERDI (Emergency Response Training Institute) – we are here for you.

In addition to pre-requisites and certification courses, we offer a wide variety of degree programs to prepare divers for the challenges of recreational diving, technical diving and professional careers in commercial diving.

Admission requirements vary by program type but all require completion or proof of high school education. For those without any prior experience, there will be some prerequisite coursework required before starting certain programs.

BS in Marine Science Technology (MSOT)

Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Medical Lab Sciences (MLS)

Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree with an emphasis on Electronic Engineering Technologies, or EEP technology specialization. The divers institute also offer associates level courses for those desiring to pursue careers as Emergency Response Technicians and Commercial Diver Career Training. The Divers Institute of Technology offers career training in marine science technology, medical lab sciences and electronic engineering technologies that can lead to an Associate Degree or a Bachelor’s degree in divers institute programs. The BS Marine Science Technologies program at divers institue is designed for those who want to work as technicians on boats used by commercial fishing enterprises, scientific research vessels and charter boat operations while providing hands-on experience with equipment typically found on these types of vessels including small engines like outboard motors, inboard diesel engines such as Detroit diesels and gas turbines.
